Affiliate Disclaimer

This article may contain affiliate links. If you make a purchase through these links, I will earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Thanks!

Hey, Ryan from Desk to Dirtbag here. I believe in transparency when it comes to blogging online, and I hate being swindled or deceived by recommended products, courses, or services by someone who is receiving a cut on the other end.

My goal with this site has always been inspiration an education of my readers in regards to outdoor adventure travel or general travel destinations, but I also run this site as a for-profit business in order to generate an income which helps me survive. Part of that means running display advertising or including affiliate links at times.

I do use a number of different affiliate programs, which means I receive compensation at no additional cost to you, if you click through a link and decide to make a purchase. I only use affiliate links for things that I own, recommend, or want to purchase myself, and I only use affiliate links to retailers that are 100% above the board. No shady internet marketers or things like that.

Not all links that I use are affiliate links, but I do include them for products, courses, or services that I use and love, so you should assume that any external link may be an affiliate link, but I only make money if you subsequently decide to purchase something of your volition, not simply by clicking through.

I also am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for me to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

If you have any questions or concerns about my use of affiliate links, or about anything you have read here, don’t hesitate to reach out and contact me — which you can do via the link in the menu above.

Thank you for reading Desk to Dirtbag, and I hope this affiliate disclaimer has alleviated any concerns you may have had.

Cheers,

Ryan
